Machine Pitch

Will play games in Madison Heights and Clawson

This division is a good middle ground between T-ball and kid pitch. Pitches are thrown to the batter using a machine that allows for pitches to thrown consistently, both location and speed wise. This allows players to gain confidence in the batter's box as they see pitches for the first time. Baserunning and fielding are also important skills that will be focused on and players should begin to gain confidence catching the ball and show proper form when throwing the ball. We use an 8 1/2 inch baseball, which is smaller than a regulation sized ball to better allow small hands to grip the baseball. Wins and losses are counted, though the primary focus of this division is the development of players in the fundamentals of baseball.
